This week Baltimore’s Beloved will take on an American favorite – the burger.
The Burger This Burger Battle will begin with The Clark Burger from, you guessed it, Clark Burger. This burger comes with sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, red onion, pickles, lettuce and a signature Clark Burger sauce.
This week What better way to warm up during the colder season than a steaming, hot bowl of noodles? That’s right. We’re doing ramen.
The Ramen Next up on the ring is Kippo Ramen and their Tonkotsu Ramen. A bowl of ramen noodles in a pork bone broth with pork chashu, bamboo shoots, egg, green onion, kikurage mushroom.
This week Baltimore’s Beloved will take on everyone’s favorite – pizza.
The Pizza The final pizza in this round is Verde’s Prosciutto e Fico – translated to prosciutto (a type of ham) and fig. According to its menu, the ingredients of this pizza are “homemade mozzarella, prosciutto di parma, fresh fig, pecorino romano, basil, extra virgin olive oil.”

This week The second food item on Baltimore’s Beloved this week is a cafe staple – the croissant.
The Croissant Last and certainly not least is the croissant from Artifact Coffee.
Last night I visited a fairly new restaurant in Fed Hill. The restaurant’s theme is evident in its name – Jazz + Soju. Essentially, it’s a Korean-American fusion place with jazz themed decor. They have pictures of notable jazz musicians and a wall made of up numerous jazz albums.
This week Baltimore Beloved’s first food battle begins and this week we’re doing the fried chicken sandwich.
The Sandwich Next up is Ekiben’s The Neighborhood Bird. The Neighborhood Bird is a Taiwanese style curry fried chicken. It comes with the spicy sambal mayo, cucumbers and fresh herbs. It is served on a white steamed bun.
